Hi Clan Leaders,

in this update, I share news about 2 things: the current delivery status and a manufacturing error:

I start with the manufacturing defect because it influences the delivery: unfortunately, some (most) games are affected by this: the roads are not rectangular but have rounded edges so they can roll easily which is not practical. After negotiating with the factory they re-make them and send them to EU and US fulfillment centers.

USA delivery

Most (~90%) backers should have already received the game, some remaining are in progress and will be delivered within 1 week. Besides this, if you got your game and experienced the mentioned rounded roads please tell me and I will send a new set when they are ready

EU delivery

EU delivery is suspended intentionally because I am waiting for the new roads so it will be put next to the box. Regarding the date, the factory promised to finish the road manufacturing this week, so it will be shipped to EU next week, after that ~early April delivery can be started. Sorry for this delay but I think it is the good decision for you to be satisfied in the end.

Hi Clan Leaders!

In this post, I share the actual shipping status. First of all, I have amazing news!:) Ships arrived in the US and EU too, but let's check it by regions with more details:

Asia/AU/NZ

This is in progress or some people have already received their copies. If you are in this region and don't get it within 1 week please let me know.

US

The ship arrived and the games were received by the fulfillment center. They said that they start delivery in about 1-2 weeks! So expect your game soon, in the 2nd half of February!:) If you don't get it in February please let me know. 

EU

The ship has just arrived, and the customs handling is in progress. Its duration is a bit uncertain, but hopefully, the fulfillment center will have it within 1 week. So I would say that the start of the delivery in the 2nd half of February is realistic. Expect your game soon, hopefully in February, or at the beginning of March.

Missing parts issue

One backer in NZ informed me about a missing skull in his box. I started to investigate it and I was shocked when I realized that there was an error with the Backerkit export that I used for manufacturing and fulfillment. I think it's important to be transparent and honest with this issue because it's not a single incidence, other backers will have missing parts too. Fortunately, the impact is not so big, about ~10 backers are involved. I will contact them one by one in a private message and figure out a solution.

Of course, if I have any news or important info to share I will let you know in the next update.

Shipping status + Reminder (shipping charge)

Hi there!

This is a super short update:

1. Shipping status

In December I said that the main goal was to put the games on ships in December, and it was successful, so they are coming!:) Moreover, it is a bit faster than I thought, fulfillment partners reported that probably the ships will arrive (in the US and EU too) in about 2 weeks. After that, the customs handling will start which is quite unpredictable, but when that's done the fulfillment partners can deliver Legacy of Thracks to your door quickly. I am waiting for that moment so much!:)

2. Shipping charge:

In the previous update I said, and now I just would like to remind you that I will charge shipping this week, starting from Jan. 10th. Please ensure that you have enough money on your card (which you used in Backerkit, I will charge shipping via that). Shipping can be started only for those who paid shipping successfully. (If you have any problem with the timing/amount then please let me know in a private message and maybe we can figure out something to handle it)

Hey Clan Leaders!:)

First of all, sorry for not updating until now, I planned it earlier but my 1st baby was born 2 weeks ago and the days are crazy and very busy with no sleep.:) But I have great news regarding the process!

Production

The factory confirmed that everything is successfully manufactured, check out the inside of the box and some pics below:

They are also packed, so everything is done in the factory, the game is ready to ship!:)

Shipping

After so many investigations and talks I have the freight and fulfillment partners: sea freight will be handled by ARC Global, the US fulfillment will be handled by Gamerati, the UK/EU is in the Spiralgalaxy hand while Asia/NZ/AU will be done by smaller local partners. 

Currently, ship booking is in progress, and the goal is that the cargo should depart in December to avoid the big pause  (New Year holiday) in China in January. The final delivery will be next year, at this moment I don't know when exactly. From now it is out of my hands and mainly depends on the ocean freight and customs handling. I hope you can get your game in January/February, and of course, I will update you when I have any news.

I did everything to get the best prices and also have quality and trusted fulfillment partners. Besides this, a part of the cost is absorbed by me.

Please note that Legacy of Thracks is a massive game with lots of components and almost 8,5 lb / 4 kg while the box dimensions are 17,1 x 12,3 x 3,5 inch /   43,6 x 31,2 x 9 cm. 

You can see the shipping cost in the below Google table. Shipping will be charged on January 10-12.

Important notes + manufacturing status

Hi, fellow clan Heroes!

I have some very good and also important news, please read this update carefully!

But first of all, in the last update, I asked you to check the rulebook, and wow, you did a really great job! Thank you very much! There were ~110 comments, most of them were misspellings, but there were also some clarification questions so I modified those things. Especially I would like to thank Geoff Walsh, William Eiten, Darryl Gerrow, Adam Albert, and Josh F for your efforts!

Manufacturing status

After the last update, I corrected everything in the Rulebook and I delivered all print files to my manufacturer. They checked carefully the formats and some technical modifications were needed, but now everything is done and the manufacturer started the printing (plastic components are already finished). They said that they finish the production at the end of October. This means that the ocean freight can be started in November. (Hurray!:) It means that if we are lucky (smooth bureaucratic processes, not stuck during customs) then some backers will receive Legacy of Thracks this year! But to be honest, if I want to be realistic, I think this will happen for most backers at the beginning of 2024. Please, expect this. Of course, I will let you know and make updates if I have any news regarding this.

Last chance

I would like to highlight that if you are still on the fence and are on the $1 pledge level this is really the last chance to get a copy of Legacy of Thracks. No other publishers will sell it and I manufactured it in a very limited quantity. So don't hesitate, order now until I have copies!

Important notes

In order to get quotes and start the freight and whole shipping process, I have to finalize the addresses and quantity to each region, so the PM will be fully closed, meaning:

• orders and addresses will be locked in Backerkit on October 10. UTC 23:59.
• if you don't fill out the survey or don't complete your address or the payment failed (card error) by that time, I can't guarantee that you will receive Legacy of Thracks!!!
• shipping will be charged at around the end of October as I finalize the fulfillment partners. Currently, I don't know the amount, I just started to ask for quotes. This takes some time in order to pick the best. As soon as I have the numbers, I will let you know. If shipping charging is failed I can't guarantee that you will receive Legacy of Thracks!
• Retailers: I will contact you directly in the next few days to finalize your order
